Joe Kido

Journal: reliableblue

Played by: Rachel

Age: 13

Nationality: Japanese

Occupation(s): Student, Digidestined

Known Family: Mother, Father, Brother (Jim)

Birthday: September 22 (his mun totally decided he'd be a Virgo.)

Sexual Orientation: He thinks girls are cute, but he'd never date one.  He likes boys, but he'd never outright admit it.

Note: This is dub Joe, therefore he only has one brother instead of two (stupid dubbing errors).

Appearance

Joe is a very tall, scrawny boy.  His face is framed with large glasses, and he usually has a shocked or worried expression.  He wears a lilac shirt with a cream-colored vest layered on top, brown shorts, yellow wrist bands and a green watch.  On his feet are a pair of red sneakers and blue knee-high socks.  Obviously, he has absolutely no fashion sense at all.  Joe always carries his medical bag with him at all times.  It usually holds his inhaler (or two), several pill bottles, anti-itch cream, bandages and gauze, a teapot and tea leaves (for Aizen, of course) and other miscellaneous medical supplies.  Joe's hair is a nice dark blue color, and rarely is styled any differently.

Personality

Joe is a pessimistic, sarcastic, allergic-to-fucking-everything, socially awkward nerd. He has incredibly low self-esteem and tends to always look at the bad of things.  Joe has absolutely no backbone as well, and really hates any form of confrontation.  His dad wants him to become a doctor and follow the "family tradition," but unfortunately Joe hates blood and guts.  All those bad points aside, Joe is a very reliable boy and is always looking out for the others.  However, being in several nexuses has lightened him up a bit, and Joe isn't as much of a walking disaster as he is back in his own world.

Relationships

Ahiru: Ahiru is perhaps the most adorable girl Joe's ever met.  The two of them seem to get along very well, and Joe hopes to become better friends with her!

Aizen: Because of some weird twist of fate in the other nexus, Joe is Aizen's eternal tea slave, and a very unhappy one at that.  He was forced to keep a teapot in his medical bag at all times, so he could have tea on hand for Aizen.  Aizen refuses to call Joe by his real name, instead referring to him as "megane-kun."

Beelzemon: Beelzemon scared the hell out of Joe the first time they met, but the boy's entirely too fascinated by the mega-level Digimon.

Choutarou: Joe's tall, dorky, necklace friend!  Joe helped him with his Christmas presents once, and really took a liking to Choutarou.

Inui: This guy is creepy.  Joe likes to stay away from him.  Far, FAR away.

Marui: Marui is Niou's teammate, and apparently is an annoying douche.  Joe's never met him, though, so he can't say from experience.

Matt: This Matt is the same Matt from his world, and not much has changed since appearing in Infinity.  For some reason, Matt harbors an intense dislike for Niou...

Mimi: Joe was very surprised to see older!Mimi at the gala.  Even though she's a few years older, the two get along just as they did before, if not better.

Mokona: Joe refers to Mokona as a "puffball" or something to the extent.  He has no idea what the heck Mokona is, but Mokona was very helpful to him, so he's very grateful for that.  Joe also thinks that Mokona makes a nice hat 8)b

Niou: Niou was one of Joe's first real friends in the other nexus, and the two met during a calculus study session that Yagyuu interrupted >(   The two of them are quite polar opposites, but somehow they manage to get along even if they had a rough start.  Though Niou can annoy him sometimes, Joe usually brushes it off.  Both of them like playing board games (Niou puts on a brave face even though he despises them), baking cookies, going to the park, playing video games (Joe's horrible at them) and watching Ghost Hunters on TV.  They also share a nice little house together (which still needs a name).  It only has one bedroom. Note: This section needs to be updated and written better.

Sanada: Joe's really REALLY scared of Sanada.  You would be, too.

Tezuka: Joe likes Tezuka because he's a bit like Joe.  Well, less nerdy and more quiet, but still.  They both are eternal tea slaves too, which is how they originally met.

TK: The TK he finds in Infinity is nothing like the TK in his world, though Joe concludes that he must be from an alternate-world.  They both get along fine, but Joe's a bit wary of him and his drastic personality change.

Yagyuu: Niou's former fling/doubles partner despises Joe, but all the poor boy wants to do is make amends.

Yamaki: Yamaki confused Joe by claiming he was a "cartoon character out of a tv show" (haha irony), then managed to futher confuse him by explaining how Digimon worked in his world.  Joe respects Yamaki in the fact that he's a very intelligent and business-savvy man.

YukimuraFuckin' monster He's a very nice boy, but there's something about him....

Infinity Events

Infinity Gala: Joe had a lot of fun hanging around the Digidestined, but didn't have a lot of fun with Niou.... 8(  The food made both of them act strange.

Mistletoe: ....fun times ensued with Niou.

Battle Royale: After a brave fight, Niou and Joe's lives were tragically ended by Sanada Genichirou and Jeri Katou.

Memory Loss: Joe forgot about everything that happened in any of his nexuses.  Niou got sad, but Joe got his memory back the next day.  ~*Magically*~ of course.

Valentine's Day: Niou and Joe had a sappy romantic dinner and cuddletimes.

Bodyswapping: Joe switched bodies with Niou, which would have been fine if Niou hadn't switched bodies with Yagyuu.  Joe was pretty much a PMSy bitch angry through this entire event.
